Tutoring Agreement
General Tutoring Statement
I am here to help the student I am aiding in the process of learning. In doing so, if you have any issues or suggestions please bring them to me so we can figure out what works best for those investing in this service. At any point, you as the client and myself as the service provider have the power to stop service for any reason. I will plan to communicate if I feel my service is not being of benefit to the student’s learning and plan to end service, I would expect the same of you when possible.
Scheduling
Please expect to have a weekly schedule in place for tutoring. I require a minimum of a 24 hour notice of cancellations or reschedules, I will charge a $20 late fee for lack of attendance without notification. Please communicate your needs as they arise, I am happy to accommodate.
Location
If we have chosen to meet in person. I will plan sessions at the University of Montana Mansfield Library. I tend to book private study rooms, please plan to stay outside the room during the session if you are a parent or if you plan to leave, please be back promptly by the end of the session to pick up your student.
If we plan to meet virtually, I ask for:
- A distraction free environment
- Attendance at the designated timeslot
- Parents to not interrupt sessions, you may listen but do not interject
Payment
I do a “pay as much or as little as you can afford” pricing model. Please plan to pay $25-40 per session as agreed upon.
Payments can be made in Cash, Venmo or Credit Card/Invoice. Please note, if payments are late and not communicated as such, I may send invoices to the email provided and will expect payment before our next session will begin.
